WONDERS OF SRI LANKA
Detailed Day Wise Itinerary
Upon arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport, meet our representative and be escorted to your vehicle for your journey to Kandy. Enjoy the scenic 4 hours drive from Colombo to Kandy. En route to Colombo visit the Pinnwala Elephant Orphanage. This is not a zoo, but something bigger and more interesting. It is a breeding ground for Asian elephants who are left abandoned due to unforeseeable circumstances. Reconnect with nature and wildlife as you witness the way elephants are treated and cared for, the elephants being fed milk, their bathing routine, and their interaction with each other. When you arrive at your hotel in Kandy, take pleasure in the kind welcome you receive and finish the check-in process before going to your room. From upper lake drive, enjoy a panoramic view of the charming town in the evening. Attend a Kandyan Dance performance to see a breathtaking climax that involves fire walking. Return back to your hotel, enjoy dinner.
