Detailed Day Wise Itinerary
Day 01 – Mumbai
This evening, arrive at Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus and board the Deccan Odyssey on a mesmerizing voyage through the Maratha heartland.
Day 02 : Nashik
At 9:00 AM, guests will disembark and spend the morning strolling along the scenic Godavari Ghats. At 12:00 PM, they will depart for a tour of the famous Sula Vineyards, arriving at 12:45 PM for a leisurely walk through the vines, laden with Chenin, Chardonnay, and Shiraz grapes. The experience will be followed by lunch at Sula Vineyards at 2:00 PM, allowing guests to enjoy the vineyard’s serene atmosphere and culinary offerings.
Day 03 : Ellora Caves
At 8:30 AM, guests will disembark from the Deccan Odyssey and proceed to visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Ellora Caves, carved into the side of a basaltic hill approximately 30 km from the city. Upon arrival at 9:30 AM, guests will embark on a guided tour of the awe-inspiring caves, which showcase ancient rock-cut temples and monasteries. By 12:30 PM, they will return to the station and reboard the Deccan Odyssey. Lunch will be served onboard at 1:00 PM. In the evening, guests can relax and unwind while enjoying cocktails onboard.
Day 04 : Ajanta Caves
Upon arrival at Jalgaon railway station, guests will drive to the Ajanta Caves. At 8:00 AM, they will disembark the Deccan Odyssey to explore the Ajanta Caves, a renowned World Heritage site. The visit will begin at 10:00 AM, showcasing the ancient rock-cut temples and monasteries adorned with stunning frescoes and sculptures. By 2:00 PM, guests will return to the railway station and reboard the Deccan Odyssey for lunch. The rest of the day will be at leisure, allowing guests to relax and enjoy the various activities available on board.
Day 05 : Kolhapur
Upon arrival at Kolhapur, a city with a rich mythical heritage, guests will disembark the Deccan Odyssey at 12:45 PM for a city tour. The first stop will be the New Palace Museum at 1:00 PM, a beautiful sandstone octagonal palace showcasing the region’s history. At 2:00 PM, guests will explore local markets renowned for their handcrafted Kolhapuri chappals. The afternoon will continue with a visit to a tea venue at 3:45 PM, followed by Lavanya Sandhya, a vibrant folk performance. At 5:15 PM, guests will visit the Mahalakshmi Temple, a revered Shakti Peetha with over 1,300 years of history. By 6:50 PM, guests will return to the railway station and reboard the Deccan Odyssey.
Day 06 : Goa
Upon arrival in Goa, renowned for its beautiful beaches, churches, and temples, guests will disembark the Deccan Odyssey at 8:30 AM and drive to Fontainhas, the charming Latin Quarter. At 12:15 PM, they will enjoy a delightful lunch followed by a tour of a spice plantation, where they can explore the lush surroundings and learn about various spices. The afternoon will include leisure time at a nearby beach, starting at 3:30 PM, allowing guests to relax and enjoy the coastal ambiance. By 6:30 PM, they will return to the Deccan Odyssey for dinner as the train departs for Sindhudurg.
Day 07 : Sindhudurg
Upon arriving in Sindhudurg, located on a rocky island off the coast of Malvan, guests will disembark the Deccan Odyssey at 8:30 AM and drive to Pinguli. At 9:15 AM, they will explore Pinguli village and visit the Sawantwadi Palace. By 12:00 PM, they will enjoy a delicious lunch at the Sawantwadi Palace. In the afternoon, at 4:00 PM, guests will return to the railway station and reboard the Deccan Odyssey.
Day 08 : Mumbai
Arrive at Mumbai, where your journey comes to an end.

- Entry tickets to all sightseeing places as per the itinerary.
- Transportation using Wagon R / Similar for 02-03 Pax
- Transportation using AC Innova/Xylo (Similar) for 04-06 pax
- All Parking Charges.
- All currently applicable Taxes.
- Vehicle is not on disposal but as per itinerary
- Vehicle will be changed depending on local vehicle regulations and road / weather condition.
- All transfers and sightseeing-using vehicle as mentioned (Vehicle will be without the carrier)

- High Season Surcharge

- Camera / Video camera fees applicable at monument.
Note
- Hotel Check-in and check-out as per hotel policy.
- Package cost will not be valid from 20th December– 10th January.
- State reserves the right to close any tourist place if found necessary without prior notice.
- Peak Period surcharge will be applicable for booking on public holidays, festivals, exhibitions and long weekends. The surcharge amount will be advised at the time of booking.
- Please carefully note the opening and closing days of each of the sightseeing points given in the itinerary.
- Most of the 7 sightseeing points in Darjeeling are closed on Thursdays, Forests are also closed on Thursdays, In Gangtok, Institute of Tibetology Institute of Handicrafts and handlooms are closed on Sundays.
- Nathula Pass is closed on Mondays and Tuesday and is subject to the availability of permits from the army.
