Detailed Day Wise Itinerary
Day 01 – Arrive at Chennai
Arrive at Chennai Airport. Tamarind Global representative will meet you at the exit of the terminal building. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel.

Day 02 : Chennai Sightseeing
Explore Chennai- Visit Fort St George, St. Mary’s Church and a museum, Kapeeleshwara Temple, San Thome Cathedral, Government State Museum & National Art Gallery. Drive past Marina Beach, the second longest beach in the world.

Day 03 : Chennai – Mahabalipuram
Drive to Mahabalipuram. Take an excursion to Kancheepuram – Visit the Ekambaranatha Temple, Vaishnavite Vaikunta Perumal Temple, Varadharaja Perumal Temple, Kamakshi Temple, and Kailasanatha Temple.

Day 04 : Mahabalipuram – Pondicherry
After breakfast check-out from the hotel and proceed to explore highlights of Mahabalipuram – covering Panch Rathas, Arjuna’s Penance and the Shore Temple. Later, proceed to Pondicherry. On arrival, check-in to your hotel.

Day 05 : Pondicherry Sightseeing
After breakfast, enjoy sightseeing of Pondicherry, starting with Aurobindo ashram. Also, cover church of sacred hearts of Jesus, Pondicherry Museum, beaches and a must-visit attraction of Pondicherry – Auroville.

Day 06 : Pondicherry – Tanjore
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive towards Tanjore. Arrive and check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day leisure at the hotel.

Day 07 : Tanjore – Trichy – Madurai
After early breakfast, check-out from the hotel and explore Tanjore – Visit Brihadeshwara Temple, Tanjore Palace & Museum. Later drive towards Trichy and enroute visit Rock Fort, Srirangam and Thiruvanaikkaval. By evening, reach Madurai hotel for check-in.

Day 08 : Madurai Sightseeing
Visit the Meenakshi Temple, Gandhi Memorial Museum, Tirumalai Nayak and Koodal Azhagar Temple. In the evening, re-visit the Meenakshi Temple to witness the evening prayer ceremony at the temple. (Optional) – Ramanathaswamy Temple.

Day 09 : Madurai – Departure
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Madurai airport for a return flight back home.

- Hotel Check-in and check-out as per hotel policy.
- Medium vehicle will be provided for 1-3 travelers and Innova will be provided for 4-5 travelers.
- Chennai – Govt. Museum & St. George Church will remain closed on every Friday.
- Madurai – Gandhi Museum will remain closed on every Monday.
- Package cost will not be valid from 20th December– 10th January.
- State reserves the right to close any tourist place if found necessary without prior notice.
- Peak Period surcharge will be applicable for booking on public holidays, festivals, exhibitions, and long weekends. The surcharge amount will be advised at the time of booking.
